Doctor of Optometry

Dr. Robert E. Brinker, OD

Dr. Brinker earned his Doctor of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1983 — a program known for its emphasis on the therapeutic treatment of eye disease. He holds both an optometry license and a therapeutic drug license.

He has extensive experience in eye examination and in fitting a wide range of contact lenses: soft and rigid gas permeable lenses, lenses that correct astigmatism, colored contacts, and the newest multifocal designs for presbyopia — the focusing difficulty that typically begins after age 40.

Dr. Brinker is known for his thoroughness and his patience. He takes pride in the accuracy of his prescriptions and will explain every step of an examination as he goes. He sees patients age three and older, and gives particular attention to young children, knowing how much early vision care shapes the years that follow.

Dina J. Sitto

Dina has been an optician for twenty years and is deeply experienced in her field. Originally a contact lens fitter, she is patient with patients and attentive to what each one actually needs.

She and Dr. Brinker make a solid team. She'll keep you informed about the latest developments in lenses and contact lenses, and tell you plainly when something isn't worth the money.
